\nRegistered Nurse Job Responsibilities:
\nProvide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions
\nEducate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care
\nCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
\nCoordinate care provided by ancillary services
\nServe as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction
\nParticipate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives
\nUphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health
\nRegistered Nurse Experience:
\n1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
\nTelemetry Experience (required)
\nEmergency Department Experience (preferred)
\nHospital Experience (required)
\nRegistered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:
\nAssociate of Science in Nursing (required)
\nBachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
\nLicensed Registered Nurse (required)
\nBasic Life Support (BLS) (required)
\nAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
\nCertified Emergency Nurse (CEN), TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)

\n Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
