LINE CHEF | PREP CHEF

Our Culinary Team is responsible for setting up the line with proper tools and products, and preparing their station for service. We seek individuals who thrive on quality, consistency and execution as well as maintaining a clean and efficient workspace to maintain Heirloom's Culinary Standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a chef you will prepare a variety of meats, dough, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurants standardized recipes.

• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives.

• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.

• Maintain food safety and quality standards.

• Ability to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently.

• Communicate any food delays or issues to your Line Chef and other cooks

• Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity.

• Accurately account for all items coming out of the station.

• Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.

• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.

• Get along well with others and be a team player.

• Other duties will be assigned as needed for both line cooks and prep cooks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
